Is God your favorite teacher?

“I, the Lord, your God,
teach you what is for your good,
and lead you on the way you should go.”

Isaiah 48:17

Did you have that one favorite teacher that you wish taught all of your classes?

Do you see God as a favorite teacher? Someone who can teach you in every space in your life?

Our invitation today as we begin to reach the midpoint of Advent is to ask ourselves am I really allowing God to teach me in His Word and in prayer. He will guide us if we are willing to make space in our daily lives and open our hearts to a deeper relationship. That deeper relationship starts with His Word and communication with Him regularly in prayer.

Will you allow God to be your favorite teacher?

“Rather, the law of the LORD is his joy; and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted near running water, that yields its fruit in due season, and whose leaves never fade. Whatever he does, prospers.” Psalm 1:2-3
