The readings from Isaiah this week are continuing to pull us into hope. In todays reading, I especially love how God promises to “destroy death forever” and “wipe away the tears from all faces (Isaiah 25:8).” How much more hopeful can that be that life beyond today is free of death and tears. God is delivering us the means through His plan of salvation.
What does it cost us?
Absolutely nothing, just an open heart.

That opening doesn’t even have to be a gaping hole but just a tiny opening to let Him work in us. This week is the start of transformation for each of us. It’s opening ourselves up through the promise of hope so that we can each welcome the freest, beautiful, most rewarding gift – CHRIST.
Today, I invite you to pause for a minute and look upon an image of Jesus – “Behold our God, to whom we looked to save us…. Let us rejoice and be glad that he has saved us! (Isaiah 25:9)”
